I had a genuis idea for my manuscript. I think I am going to compile it using a series of essays. What does everyone think? I think I can largely use what I’ve written here, expanding on it of course but I think my book may just be a compilation of essays.

Just remember, for a book to hold together and keep the reader’s attention, you have to have an overarching theme that each essay in someway addresses. They have to be connected by a theme or lead the reader to an answer to a question you pose, or something like that…
Figuring that out is the fun and the craft of writing a book. I had to do that with my memoir. It was more difficult than I imagined it would be, but, once I got it, it was magic!
