I am a single mom who has spent the bulk of her thirty-nine years caring for other people. Over the past couple of years, I have begun focus more on my own personal growth. It has been a strange transition from caring for and meeting the needs of others to attempting to care for and meet my own needs. This shift in focus is often mistaken for narcissism. Yes, I am self-obsessed. Yes, I spend lots of time thinking about myself and my life and I LOVE ME. These traits are important when you are trying to grow as human being and I don’t make excuses for them. The people in my life have been amazingly supportive and patient as I continue to grow and learn how to be me.
I am a freelance writer and a former award winning video producer. My writing focuses primarily on personal growth, my personal relationships sex and the crazy world of dating.

/ January 12, 2012The narcissist thing is a running joke with my friends. Lots of people veiw me as very egotistical and self-centered. I talk and write about myself. I haqve a very high opnion me and what I do. Some people don’t know hpow to deal with confidence especially from someone who only recently found hers. Anyone who knows me well always finds that funny. I am self-obsessed but I am definitely aware of what is going on around me. I love the people in my life and I am loyal to a fault. I have just realized I have to take care of me first.

/ February 12, 2013The nose came out for a surgery and closed up. The tongue ring cracked a tooth I was having work on and broke it so badly I had to lose the tooth or have the tooth replaced which was infinitely more expensive. I got rid of it after that.
